The development of the Thermal and Transport Concept Inventory (TTCI) has been a truly multidisciplinary and multi-institutional effort involving researchers from engineering, educational psychology, cognitive psychology, assessment and test construction.  Click here to see short bios for the principle investigators of this project.

The Colorado School of Mines and Purdue University, have partnered to develop the TTCI with financial support from the United States National Science Foundation.  We acknowledge their support, without which the TTCI instrument would not be available for use by engineering educators and researchers.
